Friday was my nephew's second birthday. Yesterday, Ricky and I went down to Newport Beach to celebrate. Here are a few pictures of the festivities.

Friday Factoids

Just for fun...a few factoids for you.

- "Beck and call" and "for all intents and purposes" are two phrases I never understood until I saw them written. I always thought they were "beckon call" and "intensive purposes" respectively.

- Pulling weeds is one of my favorite times to talk to both my sister and to God. Not usually both at the same time however.

- Simon (our boxer puppy) was born two days after my birthday.

- One of our vary favorite movies is called Serenity and it was based on a TV series called Firefly.

- Simon is named after the doctor in Serenity.

- My right foot and my left calf are currently asleep because of the way Simon fell asleep on me.

And on that note, it is time to post this and return blood flow to my legs.
